For many years, Aalen University (HSAA) has been one of the strongest research universities for applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg and Germany. One focus of research activities is battery technology, covering a wide range of topics from material synthesis and electrode development to quality and aging analyses. Modern laboratories and high-end equipment are available for carrying out innovative research projects – and a dynamic network of corporate and scientific partners guarantees an effective exchange of ideas and results.
The Materials Research Institute (IMFAA) and the Machine Learning Research Group (MLRG) involved in the ProZell cluster contribute to the DigiBatMat project with their many years of experience and methodological expertise in the field of microstructure and cell analytics as well as AI-based data evaluation.
