August-Wilhelm-Scheer Institute (AWSI)

The August-Wilhelm Scheer Institute for Digital Products and Processes is an independent, non-profit research institute which works on innovative technologies and business models for the enterprise of the future. An interdisciplinary and international team works unconditionally to turn prototypes into marketable products and to create new standards for the digital future. Since its founding in 2014, the former research start-up has gained sovereignty and built a reputation as a prestigious research institution, with its focus on interdisciplinary innovation combined with the perspective of economic exploitation. It is one of the fastest growing digitization institutes in Germany and is currently working on more than 20 research projects.
