The ProZell-partners

ProZell forms the framework for the joint work of more than 36 institutes of 19 German universities and research institutes on battery cell production. This will bundle the know-how and equipment of Germany’s leading battery research institutions. For close networking with industry, the management group with representatives from both areas, including the competence network Lithium-Ion Batteries (KLiB), is responsible.

Every research facility active in the field of battery cell production is characterized by high competence in different areas of electrode and cell production. The multitude of scientific questions arising from the complexity of battery cell production can only be successfully addressed through intensive cooperation between the relevant German research institutions within the individual research projects and their networking. In this way, competencies are bundled and innovations created beyond the boundaries of individual institutions.
